. Two teachers out west, Sarita Streng from
Albuquerque and Eric Johnson from San Diego, are producing a wonderful
documentary film about Rueda de Casino dancing. They
have traveled to Cuba repeatedly and filmed a top
dance group out there. They've done a fabulous
job in making the viewer feel like he/she is in
Cuba. Don't miss the wonderful trailer to this
film that you can find on the home page of the website CasinoRuedaConnection.com which lists many Rueda
groups all around the world.
A separate short is being
produced by the director of Danceintime which will detail how this
dance
became popular all over the world and the profound impact it has had.
This project brought Barb into
contact with Rueda groups all over the world and so
there are a
few photos on this page which show
some of the groups world-wide that dance Rueda de
Casino. Thanks
