A DanceInTime team performed an extended version of their Charlie's Angels routine, with a blend of Salsa and Cha Cha music, at the 2007 Miami Salsa Congress. The photos are on this page from that trip and the show we did there. I have to thank my teammates who did a great job performing.  Everyone was clean and tight in the performance, and Jim was awesome with the jump rope right at the end!!

The Charlie's Angels show tells a story through dance of ladies who are "Charlie's Angels" and are helping get classified, "secret information" to the proper government officials.  But part way through the performance, one of the Angels puts on a blond wig and changes character.  She turns out to be a double agent, and she steals the suitcase with secret information and gives it to a bad guy she is in cahoots with.  The good angels triumph in the end, distracting him seductively and stealing the suitcase back.  It's a hilarious story and presentation which the group choreographed themselves.

At the Miami Congress, Barb also taught a Rueda workshop--covering Serpiente, L.A. de Glen (plus ways to blend these two moves starting with either one!), Enchufla con Bikini, and Vacila Entrada.  On the "Chants" page of this website, you can see the material that was taught there, which includes some nice variations/embellishments on the standard moves!  If the reader scrolls down that page, the material from a hand-out at the Congress workshop is included there. This lists explanations of each move that was covered in the workshop.
