DanceInTime performed at a big festival in DC on Sept. 30, 06, where many styles of dance were represented. DanceInTime performed an all-women's presentation, a mixed gender traditional rueda, a team presentation of our "Wedding Routine" and other Latin dances (e.g. Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha). Below are some clips from this show. We performed Salsa and Merengue and taught those dances. Below is a short video clip from the Salsa performance by Rodrigo Rocha Rivera and Barb Bernstein. Click here to see a video of a Salsa Presentation. Performance at Bethesda Dance Studio for Party sponsored by Luvin' the MamboA DanceInTime team performed their "Charlie's Angels" Cha Cha routine at one of the "Luvin' the Mambo's" monthly parties in early November, 2006. Here are three video clips from that show. We tell a story of Charlie's Angels foiling an espionage ring by distracting two spies from exchanging information in their suitcases. While some of the Angels dance with the spies to distract them, other Angels switch the suitcases with a similar looking suitcase that contains nothing. So in the end, when the spies extract themselves from the dancing and make their "suitcase" exchange, the audience knows that those suitcases really have no information in them. The spies think they have successfully exchanged information. It's a hilarious routine, and done to a Cha Cha version of "Whatever Lola Wants Lola Gets" which is an old show tune from Damn Yankees! That was followed by these "quiz reviews" so the audience could see if they understood the differences between the dances! Click here to see a "quiz" on what Latin dance you are watching.
