SEEKING JUSTICE

Danceintime friend Sherrita Wilkins has attended DIT classes on and off over many years. She wants to share with friends some grave injustices that her family experienced. If you would like to learn more about this and how friends can help, there is information at: (link coming soon).

HELPING HAITI

Pierre Bouzi is originally from Haiti. He lived and danced in the DC area, doing some performances with Danceintime and training with DIT and AM Salsa. Pierre now lives in NY State, and helps support young people from Haiti by chairing a Robotics Competition there virtually. He reports this as a challenging, but rewarding project.

Pierre has shared the link to their fundraising page: https://emohaiti.funraise.org/. If anyone would like to help inspire hope and innovation by helping to support this educational project, all the information is at that link.

BOOK ON SALSA & RUEDA DANCING

As the director of Danceintime, I (Barb Bernstein) undertook writing a book about the dance I love. It began formally during the pandemic though I’ve been recording information on moves and other dimensions of dance for many years. Gathering this all together and expanding on many of the topics, I am putting together a comprehensive book about dancing Salsa and Rueda de Casino. I expect to publish via Amazon, some time in 2023. I'll share information on how to buy the book on the Danceintime website once it’s done! Anyone with questions about this project can contact me at Barb@danceintime.com
